SDE Group was proud to deliver the full internal fit-out of TrustFord’s new state-of-the-art dealership in Aberdeen, following the completion of the external shell construction. This flagship site reflects the latest in automotive retail design and operational efficiency, aligning with Ford’s global brand standards.
Interior Fit-Out by SDE Group
As principal contractor for the internal works, SDE Group managed and executed a high-quality, comprehensive fit-out including:
- Construction of a one-hour fire-rated jumbo wall to divide the main showroom from the workshop
- Installation of full-height glazed partitioning to form modern showroom offices and sales spaces
- Application of a new epoxy resin floor in the workshop following the installation of ramps and the MOT bay
- Coordination of architectural and interior design elements to create a functional and visually impressive retail environment
To ensure the client had full visibility and confidence in the design, our in-house 3D Modelling & Visualisation team developed a complete 3D walk-through of the site, including the car park, showroom, and workshop areas, prior to construction.
Electrical Installation by SDE Electrical
SDE Electrical was contracted to design, supply, and install a full suite of modern, energy-efficient electrical systems across both the workshop and showroom areas. The installation was tailored to meet both TrustFord’s strict corporate brand standards and the operational requirements of a busy dealership environment.
Workshop Electrical Scope:
- Installation of high-level surface-mounted containment and distribution systems
- LED lighting systems designed for clarity, safety, and reduced energy consumption
- Power provisions for 20 vehicle lifts and associated workshop equipment
- Coordination with workshop equipment specialists to ensure seamless integration
Showroom & Office Electrical Scope:
- Energy-efficient LED lighting to provide a clean, modern customer-facing atmosphere
- Power supplies for brand signage to ensure high visibility and consistent brand representation
- Installation of small power outlets and data communication systems for office and retail operations
- Complete testing, commissioning, and certification in line with current British standards and regulations
Throughout the project, SDE Electrical worked closely with specialist subcontractors for showroom lighting and workshop equipment. Our commitment to meticulous planning, on-site coordination, and real-time communication ensured that the project was delivered on time and within budget.
The completed TrustFord Aberdeen dealership now boasts a seamless blend of modern aesthetics, operational efficiency, and brand consistency. The electrical infrastructure supports high-performance workshop operations and enhances the customer experience with intelligent lighting and well-integrated technology.
