SDE Energy Solutions is proud to support Gloucestershire County Council in their commitment to sustainable transport by delivering the first of a series of EV charging installations across council-owned sites.

The Tewkesbury Spring Gardens Car Park installation marks the initial phase of this rollout, led on behalf of our client, Evolt (Swarco). This milestone project introduces essential public charging infrastructure in the district, helping to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) accessibility and convenience.

The installation comprises two 22kW dual-socket chargers, providing reliable, fast charging for both public users and dedicated bays for the Council’s fleet vehicles operated by Enterprise. This setup supports both public transport electrification and local authority sustainability targets.

Scope of Work

SDE Energy Solutions managed and delivered the project from concept to completion, covering all key aspects, including:

- Feasibility and Planning

- DNO Interface & Grid Connection Management

- Design Development and Technical Specifications

- Procurement of Equipment and Materials

- Construction and Installation

- Testing, Commissioning, and Handover

- End-to-End Project Management
