Fitzgerald Rail & Construction Equipment Services Ltd, a leading provider of specialist services to the rail and construction sectors, approached SDE Energy Solutions to explore ways of reducing operational energy costs while aligning with sustainability goals.
Operating heavy-duty plant and machinery across multiple sites, the company was facing increasing energy demands. They sought a long-term solution that would both reduce their reliance on grid electricity and allow them to generate clean, renewable energy onsite.
After a full feasibility study and energy assessment, SDE Energy Solutions designed and delivered a 250kWp Solar PV system at Fitzgerald’s headquarters in Cwmbran, South Wales. The installation was tailored to maximise on-site generation and deliver long-term energy and carbon savings.
