Our Role 

SDE Design Engineering Ltd developed a comprehensive Stage 4/5 electrical design package, ensuring the installation was fully coordinated, compliant, and buildable.  All lighting calculations and layouts were undertaken internally, based on the client’s specified luminaires and performance requirements for each working area. 

Scope of Design Services 

• Lighting and emergency lighting design: Conducted detailed lighting calculations to achieve required illuminance levels and uniformity in all working zones. 

• Small power and data systems: Designed general power and data layouts for offices and operational spaces, coordinated with furniture and partitioning layouts. 

• Containment design: Developed a full containment layout for cable management, coordinated with the building fabric and ceiling systems. 

• Main distribution alterations: Provided design details for modifications to the existing main board to accommodate new loads and circuit arrangements. 

• Mezzanine coordination: Produced detailed installation drawings and mounting details for lighting and containment across mezzanine levels to support accurate on-site installation.
